What separates a large piece from decoration
- Scale
- We do not cap the size. The dimensions follow the space, not a catalogue. At that scale a sculpture stops being an object and starts deciding where people sit.
- A render first
- Before anything is made we send a render of the piece in your space. Dimensions are set from the start; the weight follows the build.
- Light
- We can build lighting into the piece. After dark, only the cracks in the bull stay lit.
- Surface
- Metallic, patina, stone and gold looks are made with hand-painting, spray or staining. The same shade cannot be hit twice.
Before you ask
What does a centrepiece cost?
Size, complexity and finish set the price. You get a real number within a few days of asking, free and with no obligation.
How long does it take?
Allow 14 to 30 days for a large piece. Hand finishing cannot be rushed.
What is it made of?
The core is 3D printed and cast in resin; everything after that we do by hand. Metallic, patina, stone and gold looks are always paint, spray or staining effects, never solid metal.
Will you make any subject?
Yes. A photo, a sketch or just a description is enough. A portrait needs one photograph.
Can you build light into it?
Yes. Lighting goes into the structure of the piece itself, as it does in the bull.
How does the piece get to me?
So far, clients have collected and installed their pieces themselves. If that does not suit you, we can arrange transport and installation.
Working as a designer or architect?
A trade price, tear sheets for your client presentation and 3D files for your renders.
